The International Labour Day is celebrated on May 1st in every year in many countries. Why not in the USA 🇺🇸 if this day is honoring events occurred in that country?
Why is the US not celebrating Labour day on May 1st if Haymarket Myrtle occurred in the USA 🇺🇸? Because of its connection to socialist and communist movements. Consequently, Labor Day in September became a more neutral holiday honoring workers.
Labor Day, which meant 8 hours labour, 8 hours rest, and 8 hours recreation.
