WHAT'S RACISM?

RISE is an American educational organization focused on eliminating racial discrimination in sports. They explain what Racism is:

There is a Declaration of Race and Racial Prejudice as a Human Rights instrument approved and proclaimed by the General Conference of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, meeting in Paris at its highest meeting, on November 27, 1978 .

The concept of Race is based on equality. The 1st article says:

"All human beings belong to a single species and are descended from a common stock. They are born equal in dignity and rights and all form an integral part of humanity..."

By reading that paragraph the first thought is if we could add a question mark.

The idea of classification of humans by color of skin, weight, height, or other type of physical aspect is not only the way humans discriminate people in the system by hierarchy.

Economy also plays a role in differentiating social classes at the vertical system.

In the job market, at educational system, capacity, ability, skills are measures which makes us sometimes unique. Not all humans are equal that way. In sports, not all competitors reach Gold Medal and not all break record marks.
