The Convention against Torture and Other Cruel Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment
The Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment was adopted by the Assembly of the United Nations on December 10th, 1984 and into force on June 26th, 1987
The American States Organization adopted the INTER-AMERICAN CONVENTION TO PREVENT AND PUNISH TORTURE even so, the International Human Rights Committee rejected the claims of Nicolas Sourivongxay considering it just an individual claim with no formalities.
Argentina ratified the Convention against Torture on September 24th, 1986 even so, modern Tortures continue in the society.
